The Mid-Southern Counties local section is pleased to invite you to a talk on Culinary Chemistry by Dr Josh Smalley.
Josh Smalley is a post doctorial research associate in the Department of Chemistry, School of Science Kitchen at Leicester University. His doctorate was in Chemical Biology and he founded the Science Kitchen at Leicester in April 2024. In 2023 he was a finalist in the “Great British Bake Off”. He has presented to many scientific institutions in person and by webinars.
His talk will tell us how he combines his university research career with his passionate interest in food and how this led to him founding the Science Kitchen in the Chemistry Department at the University of Leicester.
His talk to the Mid Southern Counties Local Section will be held on Tuesday September 2nd at 4pm in room 1101 building 29 in the Chemistry Department, University of Southampton, Highfield Campus.
