Biography

I am a formulation and regulatory specialist with over 20 years of experience working across the cosmetic, Detergent, Pharma and chemical industries and wider consumer healthcare sectors. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and have built my career at the intersection of formulation science, ingredient safety, and regulatory compliance within the UK and European Union.

My expertise covers the development and assessment of consumer products from concept through to market readiness. I have extensive hands鈥憃n experience in formulation development, ingredient selection, stability assessment, and performance evaluation, as well as in reviewing product specifications and technical documentation.

A significant part of my professional work involves advising on UK and EU cosmetic regulations. I support compliance with relevant legislation by preparing and reviewing key regulatory documents such as Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSR), Product Information Files (PIF), safety assessments, and labelling requirements. I also advise on claims substantiation, ensuring that product claims are scientifically supported and aligned with regulatory and advertising standards.

I work with a wide range of clients, from early鈥憇tage innovators to established organisations, providing independent, science鈥憀ed advice. My approach combines strong technical rigour with practical industry insight, helping clients to reduce regulatory risk and bring safe, compliant cosmetic products to market.
