Kent Chemistry Day

6 July 2024 09:30-15:00, Chatham Maritimne, United Kingdom

Introduction
Following on from our successful annual Physics Day, Kent & Medway SLP are working collaboratively with University of Greenwich and ·¬ºÅ¿âapp Kent Section to bring you a full day of chemistry.

All are warmly invited to this full day of training and workshops for all teachers of chemistry (whether specialist or not), ECTs, trainees and technicians.

There will be sessions covering key chemistry topics for KS3, KS4 and KS5 with lots of hands-on practical activities and ideas for making your teaching even more engaging, all delivered by expert physics teacher trainers. It’s a chance to network with colleagues from across the region and find out about resources available locally.

Whilst the programme is primarily designed with teachers in mind, technicians may benefit from the more practical workshops.

There will be a full programme where you will be able to select different workshops. We hope you can join us for a fun-filled day of chemistry. To book your place go to https://www.stem.org.uk/cpd/535006/kent-chemistry-day
