The Thames Valley is a real centre for nuclear chemistry in the UK. In a new addition to the Local Section’s programme, we will be hosting Professor Francis Livens, of the University of Manchester, at Aldermaston Rec Soc. Prof Livens is director of the Dalton Nuclear Institute and has over 35 years of experience across the fuel cycle. His talk will focus on UK plutonium. Refreshments will be provided.
