This workshop aims to provide the tools to plan a happy next stage of life. We will look at a wide range of retirement issues in a gentle, supportive environment, including:
• Personal: retirement today, thoughts and emotions around retirement, dealing with relationships and change
• Money: how to prepare, understanding state & private pensions, tax and why it is important, savings, protection, wills and other money matters, how to work with a financial advisor
• Health: mind, body and nutrition
• Time: social, voluntary or paid work, leisure
The workshop is free to all members of the ·¬ºÅ¿âapp but we do have limited availability so please book your space early.
This workshop is being supported by the Chemists’ Community Fund, who assist ·¬ºÅ¿âapp members when life gets challenging. The Fund offers a wide range of services, including bereavement counselling, specialist benefits advice, legal advice, counselling support and volunteer visitors, who can offer a listening ear, talk through concerns and offer practical support.
